I had been gradually trying ...Two quick stories...<br /><br />I had been gradually trying to "awaken" a very good friend of mine to our awful secular and spiritual situations. He was listening, but he remained skeptical until a recent General Conference. Following the conference he emailed me to say, "Did you listen to Conference? I guess you were wrong, we don't have anything to worry about after all." <br /><br />The second story is a recent letter from my son who is on his mission in South America (even at his young age, he is already "awake"). He wrote that his companion had told him, "Elder, there's no need to worry and study so much about the government and the last days and such.
