We think them foolish, and dismiss the idea that we may be like them. We view them in a more true light than we view ourselves. We view ourselves through the same lens the Jews used to view themselves. We are like them in many ways."

Very interesting words to choose. Other words come to my own mind as I read these. Until the following words are fulfilled, there is still more time (and maybe even a little hope):

"And now when ye talk, ye say: If our days had been in the days of our fathers of old, we would not have slain the prophets; we would not have stoned them, and cast them out.

Behold ye are worse than they; for as the Lord liveth, if a prophet come among you and declareth unto you the word of the Lord, which testifieth of your sins and iniquities, ye are angry with him, and cast him out and seek all manner of ways to destroy him; yea, you will say that he is a false prophet, and that he is a sinner, and of the devil, because he testifieth that your deeds are evil." (Helaman 13:25-26.)

Have prophets come among us to warn us of our wicked ways? If so, have we proceeded to reject the prophets among us? If not, when will such prophets come among us to warn us of our ways?

These are questions that confound me at this time. It would seem that until we can individually answer these questions, we do not really understand where we sit on the timeline. And timing really is everything!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14686074269622549754noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5994778299323281554.post-5402363274505082822012-09-10T06:37:12.529-07:002012-09-10T06:37:12.529-07:00I really appreciate reading the thoughts of others...I really appreciate reading the thoughts of others that have come to the same conclusions and have been taught the same things by the Lord.

Another "have been and shall be" will be a servant of the Lord that will come to "set in order" the house of God. It's going to play out almost exactly like it did for Jesus, but this time it will be the gentiles rejected the message.

Very interesting times to be alive.Adamhttp://www.geneology-search.netnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5994778299323281554.post-5223987622396944112012-09-10T06:36:56.370-07:002012-09-10T06:36:56.370-07:00As our eyes begin to be opened, and we realize tha...As our eyes begin to be opened, and we realize that we (The Church) have become so very similar to ancient Israel, we will begin to awaken to our awful situation. The messages in the Book of Mormon, including the words of Isaiah, will start to become clear.

"For in much wisdom is much grief: and he that increaseth knowledge increaseth sorrow."
